I've always enjoyed classical artwork, which is generally very representational, very illustrative in nature. However, it's only in the last couple of years that I've come to appreciate the more abstract modern forms of fine art. Studying graphic design was a great help, because a lot of graphic design has to do with things such as psychological interpretations of color and influncing the direction of eye movement through an ad by the viewer. Many of these same tricks used in commercial ad design are present in abstract art, albeit more subtly. Thus I've begun to experiment more with less representational artworks like those here. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating them.
